Applications are hereby invited for walk-in-interview on Purely Contractual basic (Temporary) of Research Fellow (01 No.) under the Syngenta India Ltd. funded project entitled "Evaluation of Pesticides against insect and nematode pests of some field crops" located at Pundibari in the district of Cooch Behar under the aegis of Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya. Person will be recruited under the guidance of Dr. Biswajit Patra, Assistant Professor of Agril. Entomology & Principal Investigator, Regional Research Station, Hill Zone, UBKV, Kalimpong, the details of the position under this project is given below:

Qualification
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Agricultural Entomology.
Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to the
candidates having research experience on pesticides evaluation against pests of field crops and knowledge in Computer operation.

Tenure: up to 30 June, 2025 or date of completion of project whichever is earlier. *Preference will be given to higher qualification/experience
"Mere possession of minimum qualification shall not make a candidate selected to the posts.
"The selection committee's decision will be final when binding in all respects.
The Viswavidyalaya reserves the right to select anybody as recommended by the selection committee.
Nationality/Age: Indian nationals with the following age limits are eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Age should be below 40 years as on 1 June, 2023 (age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST). Further
age relaxation may be given to the candidates with experience in such type of project programme.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Applicants have to appear in person before a selection committee for a walk-in-interview at the chamber of The Director of Research, Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Pundibari, Cooch Behar.
