Online applications are invited frorn eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Librarian in Sponsored

Public Library having the status of Rural Library in Murshidabad district under Local Library Authority,

Murshidabad district.

Qualifications

(a) Must have passed Higher Secondary Examirration or its equivalent.

(b) Possessing a Pass Certificate in Library and Information Science from

trnstitutions as mentioned in Notification No.365/MEE/Sectt. Dated-15.03.2023 of

the Deparlrnent of Mass Education Exterrsiorr& Library Services.

A candidate possessing Baclrelors' Degree in Library & Inforrnation Science or

equivalent is also eligible to apply.

(c) Basic knowledge in computer application.

(d) Knowledse in Benqali.

Age ShoLrfd not be less than I B years and not more than 40 years as on 0l .01.2023

Upper age-lirnit shall be relaxable in respect of candidates irr the reserved

category as per the extant rules of the Governrnent.

As per Notification No.366/MEE/Sectt. Dated 15.03.2023 of the Departrnent of Mass Education Extension & Librarv Services.

Last date of sLrbrnission of application is l5106/2023 till l2:00 midnight in the

entertained. No application will be accepted in any physical fonn or by arry other means.

3) The qLralifications prescribed in the advertisement are as per the notified recnritment rules issued by the

Departrnent of Mass Education Extension & Library Services, Govt. of West Bengal.

4) All acadenric and professional qLralifications rrust have been obtained from Board/ Council/

University/lnstitutions duly recognizedby / in the State of West Bengal.

5) The benefits of upper age concession up to 5 years are adrnissible only to S.C. and S.T. candidates of

West Bengal and up to 3 years to O.B.C. (category 'A' & 'B')(norr crearny layer) candidates of West

Bengal. The S.C., S.T. and O.B.C. candidates of otlrer states may apply for unreserved vacancies as General
